The Read-alouds were my favorite because the books we read were exciting and silly, and the kids were enraptured. Since new people were constantly coming to our stand, a book that I started reading with just a few people would finish with a much bigger audience. At some point, even the penguin joined in the listen!
I’m so grateful I was able to help out with the Coats for Kids event alongside my mom and my Bookspring family. At the end of the day, all of the boxes of books were completely empty! This means that hundreds of books found a loving home with the amazing kids I got to meet that day.
